in vicinity of the cambodian port city of preah sihanouk and its international airport, along the shores of the gulf of thailand, with one of the largest mangrove forests of south-east asia and pristine beaches, lays the historic ream national park. its hills are covered with forest that contain some magnificent, ancient trees. it was decided that the hills shall be made accessible and be developed.

the ark hotel project with adjacent holiday homes and a healing centre preserve and uphold the richness of the natural, unique environment and immerse in it. the local and international guest finds serenity, relaxation and restoration. the architectonically charged sacred space on the hotel top invites to reflect and reconnect - to look inward, outward and upward.
