a large convex roof perched on slim columns over an elevated platform in the market square defined by series of shophouses. an outer layer of dry market booths envelope the wet market stalls gravitating around the low roof opening over the central green. cable pulled booth doors serve as both, shelters from sun and rain as well as large size signboards for each vendor. the green roof minimises rain water run off and keeps market temperature agreeable due to evaporating cooling.
a coffee shop under a conical shaped roof amidst large trees, between cross road and market, is the eye of the new site to look in and look out.
